Biography

Portrait: Sue

I began writing again after a twenty-year writer's block, about five years ago. I have been taking classes at the Loft and writing up a storm. I started by writing lyrical poetry and now am writing more narrative poetry. I work as a Weight Watchers Leader and write part-time. I have a B.A. in English from St. Cloud State University, with a Creative Writing Emphasis. I am married and have two children and a Doberman. I take my inspiration from journal writing, and from all the interesting people I meet in life. I write by hand first and then type it. Then I revise by hand, and then by reading it aloud to my family.
